Chudakarana Samskara, also known as Mundan, is the first haircut ceremony — one of the most visually striking and spiritually significant rituals in a child's early life. Usually performed at the end of the first year or during the third year, this ceremony involves the shaving of the child's birth hair, believed to carry impurities from the womb. The hair is offered at a sacred river or temple as a gesture of surrender and gratitude to the divine. A grand family gathering filled with love, laughter, prayers, and blessings.
